Job Description

1. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to CFO, company management and board of directors.

2. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of bi-monthly sales and service tax report and annual corporate tax submission

3. Ensure compliance of all legal requirement such as general accounting principles/standards, Income Tax Act, etc.

4. Prepare company’s annual budget and oversee approved budget implementation

5. Prepare, review and improve financial work policies, processes and procedures as and when required to comply with the Company’s objectives.

6. Ensure all accounting procedures and reporting systems are implemented, controlled and monitored.

7. Liaise with auditors, tax agents and other relevant external business partners and ensure tax computations of the Company.

8. Assist in the preparation of financial-related announcements, circulars, board papers etc.

9. Assis Management in corporate exercises or any other assignments.

Requirement:

-Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting recognized by Malaysian Institute of Accountant (MIA) or professional qualification in ACCA or equivalent

-Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in Finance field

-Have experience in working with power utilities industry would be an added advantage.

-Familiar with sukuk financing or non-recourse financing would be an added advantage.

-Good leadership, problem solving, interpersonal and presentation skills.

-Ability to analyze financial data, statements and projections.
