Job Description


to manage all aspects of materials flow and to maintain control and accuracy
over all inventories including all transactions, procurements, logistic
management, planning, cost and projects, to ensure that operations demand are
fulfilled on time.

Job Description:

  • Develop,
    implement and manage cross-functional, fully integrated planning process,
    shelf & work-in-progress inventory, and associated cost
    elements.  Ensure proper procedures and internal controls are in
    place over physical flow and accounting of inventory in operations. 
  • Establish
    and implement methods and best practices related to the systems and
    process that support shortages, inventory forecasting, purchasing, and
    material control. 
  • Identify, develop
    and manage effective relationships with key and potential suppliers of
    goods and services to meet the established cost, quality and delivery target,
    constant evaluate, monitor and report supplier scorecard performance via
    business review. 
  • Adhere
    to established corporate/company policies, procedures, terms and
    conditions and legal matters that effect purchasing/planning policies. 
  • Support
    and participates in Quality meetings to resolve quality issues, working
    with both internal & external resources. 
  • Collaborate
    with Engineers, Operations, Quality to achieve turn-around time & cost
    reduction target. 
  • Collaborate
    with EHS to maintain a safe and healthy work environment, and to align
    corporate/company policies that adhere to local and corporate (state and
    federal) health and safety regulations. 
  • Establish
    and maintain effective planning.  Monitors and reports inventory
    planning accuracy. Develops and executes plans to reduce E&O. 
  • Ensure
    timely communications regarding inventory levels and key performance
    indicators, to keep organization informed of inventory issues and supply
    chain performance. 
  • Plan,
    initiate and monitor open Purchase Orders to ensure timely receipt and
    inventory of all products meet turn time and inventory stocking
  • Establish
    target plan, maintain and ensure inventory meet yearly financial budget. 
  • Comply
    with all US and Malaysia Export Control Regulations 
  • Participate in EH &
    S Program and Obey EH& S Rules and Procedures 
  • To work on other related assigned
    task as and when needed
