Job Description


Meet personal and
department sales target.

To look for prospect and developing of
new accounts.

Oversee the sales team

Business and network
development in areas designated either by geographical coverage, vertical
industry or product.

Ensure customer
satisfaction and zero bad debt in the management of customers’ accounts.

Any other roles and
responsibilities as and when assigned by the department head.


Job functions 


1. Develop new business through:-

  • i.
    cold calls with reference to geographical areas assigned
  • ii.
    referrals from existing customers, friends or business associates
  • iii.
    telemarketing with reference to trade directories
  • iv.
    direct mailing and online marketing
  • v.
    trade shows, road shows and other marketing activities

2. Closing sales through the following processes:-

  • i.
    Fact finding, analysis and understanding of customers’ or prospects’
  • ii.
    Prepare and present good business proposals that fit the requirements
  • iii.
    Anticipate questions and preparing good answers to address customers’ or
    prospects’ concerns
  • iv.
    Negotiate for effective closing
  • v.
    Discuss with department head for strategic approach in the quest to close
  • vi.
    Follow up for purchase orders

3. Good follow up after sales closure by working
closely with other departments to ensure delivery, project
management till completion of project.

4. Work together with other departments to solve any
technical, delivery or billing issue concerning own
portfolio of projects.

5. Understanding customers’ requirements and
procedures to get our invoices paid. 

6. Collection for closed orders.

7. Analyze and discuss reasons for tenders/proposals
lost to competitors.
