Objective / Purpose of the Job

The Indoor Sales Executive is responsible to support the Sales Executive to attain the profitable growth of the customer base across the sales channels allocated to him/her and as a team. The Indoor Sales Executive is also responsible for the delivery of effective and efficient services to all customers by working closely with Operations, Customer Service and other sales support departments.

The Indoor Sales Executive will be accountable for achieving the following results:

-New business acquisition against target together with Sales Executive

-Assist in growing the existing business development target

-Ensuring customer satisfaction by supporting on all customers enquiry/rates and customer related matters

Key Activities / Accountabilities
Identification of Market

To identify all prospects to be focused on within a predetermined portfolio/territory/geographical areas that will contribute to the achievement of the revenue and profit budget

-Gathers all information relating to prospects within the geographic boundaries of the portfolio

-Determines the existing and potential customers to be focused upon by each sales channel

-Researches and analyses portfolios/territory based on existing and potential customers by sales channel, product and etc.

Sales Planning and Development

To implement own territory strategic objectives, by sales channel, to achieve the portfolio’s/company’s revenue budget/target

-Provides input to the business plan for the sales department

-Monitors revenue budgets and targets for own sales channel within the assigned portfolio

-Communicates and gains support from local management for the achievement of sales objectives by sales channel

Relationship Management

To ensure we win, develop and maintain customers through building lasting relationships

-Forms professional and appropriate relationships with key customers through face to face contact

-Ensures correct levels of Senior Management are in contact with the most relevant management level within the key customers organisation

-Monitors the development of customer relationships across own sales channels

-Ensures all customers are kept up to date with relevant company information

-Establishes appropriate relationships and communicates with other relevant functional areas

Marketing/Product support

-To support product development to ensure company’s value proposition is meeting the requirements of all sales channels

-Provides input on potential product opportunities through identifying new developments within the customers or

competitors within the local market

-Supports the introduction of new products

Process Compliance

To follow and comply with sales channel processes, policies and procedures in order to ensure the consistency, efficiency and quality of internal and external customer expectations

-Ensures compliance of new and existing divisional sales channel structures, policies and processes

-Ensures continuous improvement in customer experiences through supporting the deployment of best practice processes

-Works with cross-functional colleagues to ensure all customers and related functional processes are consistently applied to improve the customer experience

-Actively manages the performance of customers through the effective compliance of sales channel policies, accompanied by local corrective action planning against depot performance results

Preferred Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Qualification: Diploma/Degree holder in any fieldExperience: Minimum three (3) years’ sales/account management experienceProven track record of achieving sales targets (personal and/or team)
Technical Skills:
-Business to business telephone selling skills-Negotiation skills
-Strong communication and listening skills-Customer relationship management
-Working supportively as a team member and effectively as an individual-Drive for results-Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
Language Capability:
-Proficiency in spoken and written English required-Proficiency in other languages will be an added advantage
